General trading & wholesale

Wholesale ERP that protects your margin and your credit

Covadesk buys with control, stocks across warehouses, sells on price lists and credit limits, invoices through eTIMS and collects through M-Pesa — then ages every shilling owed so the credit controller knows who to call.

Built for: Wholesalers, importers, general traders, hardware and building-materials distributors, and agro-dealers selling on credit.

The problems we solve

Where wholesalers and traders lose money — and how Covadesk closes the gap

  • Credit given on goodwill

Credit limits are checked when an order is confirmed, counting confirmed orders as well as invoices — and overrides are approved, used once and recorded.

  • Paying for goods that never arrived

Supplier invoices are matched to the purchase order and the goods received note before they can be paid.

  • Prices quoted from memory

Price lists by customer category apply automatically on quotes and orders.

  • Receivables nobody chases

AR ageing and dunning surface the biggest and oldest balances first.

Questions

Covadesk for wholesalers and traders: common questions

How does Covadesk enforce customer credit limits?

When a sales order is confirmed, Covadesk checks the customer’s outstanding invoices plus confirmed orders against their limit. An order over the limit needs an approved credit override, which is used once and recorded.

What is three-way matching?

A supplier invoice is matched against the purchase order and the goods received note. Quantities and prices must agree within tolerance before the invoice can be paid.

Can we buy and sell in different units?

Yes. Units of measure have conversions, so you can buy by the carton or bag and sell by the piece or kilo.
